The gathering welcomes youth entering grades 9-12 in the fall of 2015 and 2015 high school grads. If interested, please pick up Zion's registration form at the back of the church or in the office. THis is due back to the church office by July 30th with a $50 deposit. Here is the informational website: http://www.elca.org/Youth Gathering

Sunday School department is in need of legos. If you have legos that you would be willing to part with, we would love to have them. Thank you in advance!

"Your cents count!" Building repair loan retirement plan. In 2009-2010 we began a major repair project of Sanctuary lighting, roofing, windows, insulation, basement leak landscaping, and sidewalk repair. Of nearly $400,000 in payments, we are down to approx $90,000. We hope to pay the remainder of the loan off over the next 3 years. Please take note of the "payment thermometer" and "Your Cents Count" rosemalled container. The container is for pocket change kinds of giving that are given beyond your regular support of Zion's ministry and mission plan. Even small donations make a huge difference when we work and give together. Thank you!

ZAP (Zion At Play) is every Wednesday from 8 am until noon. This is a free summer program open to all children in the community ages 4 through 5th grade. If you'd like to sign up, there are brochures on the usher's table at the back of the church.

Aluminum cans for Bible Campers: If you have aluminum cans please place them in the can bin at the South end of the park by the church parking lot.  Your can donations will help cover costs for children going to Bible Camp.  We are encouraging younger children to try camp and this can help them pay the way.
